Education here is not a sales channel
Summit has been member-owned since 1948, so the people teaching these classes answer to the same 412,000 members who take them. Instructors are Summit staff on salary, not commission. Nothing in this library asks you to open an account to keep reading.
Where to start if you only have twenty minutes
Most people arrive here with one specific question: why the paycheck disappears, why the score will not move, or whether a loan offer is any good. Start with Money Basics, which covers budgeting, emergency funds, credit, and debt payoff in one sitting, then come back for the deeper material. If you already know the concepts and just need numbers, skip straight to the calculators and pair them with today's rates.
Reading is the cheap part. The change happens when a number moves, so every article in this hub ends with one action small enough to finish the same day: naming an automatic transfer, pulling a free credit report, or listing your debts in order of interest rate. Do that one thing and the next article will make more sense.
Six tracks, each about four hours of reading
Pick the track that matches the decision in front of you rather than working through all six.
What each resource covers and how long it takes
Everything below is free, printable, and open without a login.

Using the resource center
Do I have to be a Summit member to use any of this?
No. Every article, calculator, and public workshop is open to anyone. Membership only matters if you want to open an account, and that takes a $5 deposit through become a member.
Will someone call me after I use a calculator?
No. The calculators run in your browser and we do not attach the numbers you type to your member record. If you want a follow-up you have to ask for one through contact us.
Can my school, library, or employer host a session?
Yes, at no cost to the host or attendees. We supply the instructor, printed workbooks, and travel; you supply a room and let people know. Send the group size and age range through contact us and we usually schedule within two weeks.
Are the materials available in Spanish?
Yes. Workbooks and handouts are printed in English and Spanish, and we can staff most sessions with a bilingual instructor if you tell us in advance.
I am already behind on payments. Is any of this useful?
Start with a coaching appointment rather than an article. A coach will sort what you owe by consequence, not by size, and talk through options including hardship arrangements. Nothing you share affects an existing account.
Where do I report something that looks like fraud?
Call 800.555.7846 right away, or use report lost or stolen for a card. The security center lists the current scams we are seeing across our 42 branches.
Turn reading into one change this week
Run your own numbers, book an hour with a coach, or open the account the plan depends on.
