Questions about fees
Do you reorder transactions to maximize overdraft fees?
No. Items post in the order they are received, and we cap courtesy pay charges at three per day. We also do not charge on items under $10 and never charge twice on the same item when a merchant re-presents it.
Can a fee be refunded?
Often, yes. Bring the account positive by the next business day and the overdraft charge is refunded automatically. Beyond that, branch staff can refund most service charges directly, particularly for a first occurrence.
How much notice do you give before a fee changes?
Thirty days in writing for any new or increased fee, by mail or eStatement notice depending on your delivery preference. Fee changes are also posted here and in the disclosures section before they take effect.
Are business account fees the same?
Mostly, though business checking adds a per-item charge above 250 monthly transactions and merchant services are priced separately. The business banking pages carry the full schedule for those products.
Why does a credit union charge fees at all?
Because some services carry a real cost to provide, such as courier delivery or wire processing. As a member-owned cooperative we price those at or near cost rather than as a profit center, which is why so much of this page reads $0.
Where is the official version of this schedule?
The governing document is the Truth in Savings disclosure you received when you opened your account. It is also available in the disclosures section or from any branch on request, and it controls if anything here differs.
